Surfer’s Mobility & Stability

Created especially for surfers or athletes alike, Surfer’s Mobility integrates stretching and strengthening with dynamic movements, incorporating the use of some yoga poses and breathwork to support surfers’ performance.
Learn to mobilise areas of the body that tend to tighten up, specifically from surfing and other pursuits.

Myofascial Movement

These sessions take your yoga practice to a different level. Move through the different yoga postures, massaging and manipulating your myofascial tissue with the use of yoga props.
This will help to improve flexibility, release stress, and build stabilising strength, as well as improve blood flow and lymphatic support.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Yoga

Meridians are like invisible rivers connecting acupuncture points in the body. These are not rigid lines but flow irregularly next to each other. Chi (Qi), Prana or life force flows along these meridians, connecting all organs, like the blood vessel system.

Each meridian is related to a respective organ and their opposite organ (Yin and Yang pairs). Through specific movement, postures, and breathing, we can support the flow of chi (Qi), enhancing the connectivity of the meridians and specific organs.

Yin Yoga

A relatively new style, Yin Yoga is a practice where certain yoga poses are held for a longer duration of time.

It incorporates traditional Chinese medicine principles, myofascial release, and the energy system. It is the perfect counterpoint to Yang forms of exercise (running, HIIT, CrossFit, surfing, tennis, golf, swimming etc.)

A slow-paced practise where muscle engagement is kept to a minimum with the support of props such as bolsters, cushions, blankets, and blocks.
Perfect for beginners, anyone recovering from injury, or wanting a slower, gentler style of yoga.

Ayurveda Dosha Specific Yoga

Balance the Doshas and the Five elements in Ayurveda: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space. These are the five basic elements from which everything in the universe arises. Even our bodies manifest through a certain ratio and combination of the five elements.

Kapha Dosha governs lubrication and nourishment through the elements of earth and water.
Vatta Dosha relates to movement in the body through the elements of air and water, while Pitta Dosha deals with transformation through the elements of water and fire. Yoga is a powerful tool that can help bring balance to the body and mind when we are feeling an excess or shift in a particular dosha.

Hatha Yoga

One of the most traditional styles of yoga is often considered the foundation of all existing yoga styles today. It is designed to purify and control the physical body through breath (pranayama) and steady poses (asanas). These practices lead to greater control of the mind.

Hatha Yoga aims to keep the body in balance as you perform asanas with long, comfortable, and steady holds rather than in a vigorous or dynamic manner. It is both a great practise for beginners, those new to the practice, and for experienced yogis wanting to refine their practice and alignment.

Literally translated Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep. Initially a relaxation technique, it is designed to guide you into much deeper realms of your subconscious, getting in touch with your innermost desires, fears, and attachments.
It can improve physical and mental health, as it is highly effective in dealing with stress and related conditions such as hypertension.

Yoga Nidra can help you make major decisions and changes in your life deepening self awareness.

Kids Yoga

Through movement, dance, story, breathing, and mindfulness, kids yoga can enhance coordination, balance, strength, flexibility, and motor skills, boosting confidence and performance. As a qualified school and early childhood teacher, I aim to bring a special magic to the sessions with children.

Teen Yoga

The teenage years are often difficult, with the pressures of classwork, exams, and physical, and social development. Yoga can help teens with concentration, stress management, controlled breathing, and mindfulness techniques, which help to develop self-awareness, physical, and mental resilience, mind-body alignment, and confidence. As a trained high school dance and drama teacher, I believe I have a unique understanding of teen needs.

Pranayama/Breathwork

Breathing is the foundation of life. Transporting oxygen into our bodies influences every system and function. It is a simple automatic function, yet so many of us do not optimise the way we breathe. Learn specific techniques to enhance health, performance, longevity, fitness, and overall wellness.
Be guided to profound and simple ways to create a calm, relaxed mental state, control fear, anxiety, stress, and anger while promoting restful sleep. Being trained in traditional Yogic Pranayama, Laird Hamilton big wave surfer’s XPT program along with Apnea Survival course, I’ll share a blend of experiences tailored to each individual need.
